## What is the Home insights screen

Home gives you a read-only overview of the active project's health at a glance. Open the drawer (hamburger icon or swipe right from the left edge) and tap Home.

The screen shows four KPI tiles — Total assets, Completion rate (%), Open issues, and Total issues — followed by three charts:
- Issue velocity — a cumulative weekly chart of issues created vs closed.
- Issues by priority — horizontal bars.
- Asset status distribution — a bar showing how assets split across statuses.

Everything on Home is view-only; you cannot edit data from this screen.

## Choosing the chart colours — app palette vs project status colours

Tap the ⋯ button in the Home header to choose where chart colours come from:
- App palette (default) — the app's own consistent colour set.
- Project status colours — the colours your project defines for its statuses.

Your choice is remembered between sessions.

## Refreshing the insights

Drag down from the top of the Home screen and release to refresh. This reloads the KPI tiles and all three charts with the latest project data.

## No project yet — empty state

If you have not joined a project, Home shows a "No project joined yet" state with a "Join with invite code" button. Tap it to enter an 8-character invite code and join. Once you are in a project, the tiles and charts fill with its data.

Home belongs to a project. In My Workspace, and until you join your first project, the drawer has no Home row. If Home is open when you switch to My Workspace, it says "You're in My Workspace" with a Select project button that opens the drawer so you can switch back to a project.

## Drilling into the numbers — use the web app

The mobile Home screen is a summary. Drill-downs — clicking into a KPI or chart segment to see the underlying items — are available on the web app's Home page. On the phone, use the Issues and Assets screens with their search and filters to inspect specific items.

## Who can see Home insights — permissions

Viewing Home requires home.view, which all built-in roles (Project Admin, Project Member, Technician) have by default. Everyone who can open Home sees the same statistics; there is no separate permission for them.

The project owner can always see everything. If Home is missing for you, ask a project admin to check that your role has `home.view`.
